Welcome
Welcome to my faculty webpage. I am an Assistant Professor (Grade II) in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy). My research focuses on Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Tsunami Impact Studies, Reservoir Operation, and Hydrological Modelling. I am interested in developing sustainable engineering solutions through numerical modelling, optimization techniques, and data-driven approaches for water resources and coastal engineering applications.

- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Civil Engineering.
- Supervising B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. research scholars.
- Conducting research in Hydraulics, Water Resources Engineering, CFD, and Tsunami Engineering.
- Serving as the Faculty Advisor for the Designers' Consortium, an institute-level technical club.

Tsunami Impact StudiesUnderstanding tsunami wave propagation and interaction with coastal infrastructure using advanced numerical modelling. Research focuses on wave mitigation, coastal hazard assessment, and optimization of sea dike configurations for reducing tsunami-induced forces. |
