Research Interests

πŸ”¬ Research Interests

Tsunami Impact Studies

Understanding tsunami wave propagation and interaction with coastal infrastructure using advanced numerical modelling. Research focuses on wave mitigation, coastal hazard assessment, and optimization of sea dike configurations for reducing tsunami-induced forces.

Hydraulics & Water Resources

Research on reservoir operation, hydrological modelling, flood management, optimization of multi-purpose reservoirs, sustainable water resources engineering, and decision-support systems.

CFD in Free Surface Flow

Application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to free surface flows involving hydraulic structures, coastal engineering, wave–structure interaction, spillways, multiphase flows and energy dissipation mechanisms.
