Slot Booking Procedure

1. Visit sif.nitt.edu. New users must register to obtain a User ID and password.
2. Log in to your account and navigate to Equipment → View Available Equipment from the user dashboard.
3. Select the required equipment and click Book Now.
4. Complete the booking form by providing the sample code, sample description (e.g., sample matrix, solvent, etc.), and any specific requirements.
5. Click Submit to proceed.
6. Review the entered details and confirm your booking request.
7. After receiving the booking confirmation email from the SIF Office, make the payment through SBI Collect by following the payment instructions provided on the website. Then, upload the payment details in the Booking section of your user dashboard.
8. Once the payment is verified by the SIF Office, you will receive an email instructing you to submit the samples along with the duly filled and signed requisition form to the SIF Office.
9. After the samples are received at the SIF facility, the analysis will be carried out. The results will be shared with the user via the email address provided in the requisition form.
