Academic Details

Dr. S. Jerome, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of MME. He graduated Mechanical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, in 1998. He obtained both his M. Tech Welding Engineering (2004) and Ph.D. (2012) from NIT Trichy.

Area of Interest

Currently, he is working in the research area of Wire Additive Manufacturing, Welding Science, Welding of High-Temperature Materials, Cold metal Transfer welding, Welding of Non-Ferrous alloys, etc. He has been published several research articles in Peer-reviewed International SCI Journals and Conferences of repute. He has completed Five Sponsored research projects from BHEL, NRB, ISRO, etc, and organized several International Conferences and Workshops. He is a reviewer of numerous international journals in the field of Welding Science and Engineering.
