BRIEF SUMMARY
Dr. Yamini is a faculty member of Operations and Analytics at the Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NITT). Before joining NITT, she worked at the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) for three years as a faculty in the Operations Management and Decision Sciences area. Yamini holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. (by research) degree from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM). She is a graduate of the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University Chennai, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. She has also worked for Cognizant Technology Solutions - Chennai.
She is a consistent performer with distinction throughout her graduation and has published papers in many reputed international journals. She has also presented her research work in various leading international conferences of repute and has received several commendable international awards. She has done projects for industries such as the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Chennai), Rane Brakes & Linings Limited (Chennai) and Integral Coach Factory (Chennai). She is a member of the Production and Operations Management Society (USA), EURO Working Group on Ethics & OR, Operations Research Society of India and Society of Operations Management.
