Dr. R. K. Jeyachitra

R. K. Jeyachitra received her Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree in Microwaves and Optical Engineering from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India and Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. In 2007, she joined National Institute of Technology (NIT), Trichy, where she is now a professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has several years of research experience in the areas of advanced communication systems. Her research interests are in information and communication systems, microwave/millimeter-wave photonics, optical wireless communication, radio over fiber, optical communication and photonic crystal fibers. She is a life member of Institution of Engineers (IE), Indian Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). She has authored the various book chapters and papers in reputed journals and conferences. She has reviewed books and acted as reviewer for various referred International Journals and conferences. She also serves on the Technical Program Committee for IEEE international conferences.
