DEE offers consultancy services for both public and private sectors in multiple ways, viz., institutional consultancy, retainer consultancy, and research based industrial consultancy in the broad domains of energy and environment, which includes areas like energy conversion, energy audit and management, energy efficiency, waste water treatment, bioremediation, PV panel sizing for domestic and industrial application, PV panel testing, testing of waste water and biomass/fuel samples for its energy content and recycling of e-waste as building material. The department has latest high-end sophisticated stationary and portable equipment, enabling it to render the above mentioned services effectively and timely.
