Transfer operations laboratory involves with the recovery and conversion of natural compounds using both conventional and intensified unit operations. It is equipped with different instruments for the characterization, extraction and analysis. The major research areas include bioethanol, biodiesel, residual solid fuel from different waste bio resources and modelling & simulation studies. Natural compounds are recovered from resources like vegetable wastes, fruit wastes, non-edible oil sources and solid wastes. Research projects are in line with the above-mentioned processes and compounds. Laboratory develops eco-friendly alternative solutions for sustainable energy, agriculture and bio-medical applications.
