An initiative of DoMS to bring out monthly Newsletters, Xtravagate aims to enlighten the general public about various activities that take place every month in the Department. From showcasing talent on big platforms to voicing out opinions on current trends, DoMS takes keen interest in keeping a step forward from the rest of the world.
A dedicated alumni section of the newsletter focusses on connecting the alumni with the department, like their good old days. The newsletter also features “Snippets”, which are news in short regarding the Guest Lectures and Workshops conducted, Achievements of the students and other activities that grab the interest of the students.
Being a student driven department, DoMS wishes to throw light upon the curiosity and enthusiasm it shows in conducting activities and participating in various events throughout the year. Hence, a yearly magazine “Pronto” is being published by the Public Relations Committee of Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy, to keep the public updated with the same.
It features the B-School’s rankings, Chapter meets with alumni, Competitions participated and won, FIRM Games, HumaNITTY, Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, Conclaves, Club Activities and Department Awards that have happened all around the year. The accolades that DoMS’ students and faculty receive is the cynosure for Pronto’s initiative.
