The Deadline has been extended to 11th March 2010.
This event provides a platform to enthusiastic students from technical institutions across the country to present their innovative ideas in the form of papers. The papers go through a rigorous screening by a panel comprising experienced faculty before being given a slot at the final event. On the final day, the candidates are given about 15 minutes to present their work before being subjected to a questioning session by a panel of judges comprising eminent people from the industry and academia. It is OPEN THEME competition. You can submit your paper on any topic in Computer Science.
Contest Details
• The contest involves 2 stages.
• Prelims : Shortlisting of papers, from the pool of entries
• Finals : A stage presentation of idea in the paper, in front of the judges, followed by questioning session
• No limit on the number of entries for prelims
• Number of papers selected for finals, will be dependent on the pool of entries
• Judging will be independent for the two stages
• The Last date for receiving entries is 9th of March. Shortlists will be out on 10th.
Prelims
• Abstract
• The whole paper in pdf
• The paper should be in two column format.
Finals
• 10 min stage presentation should include the following
• A brief overview of the topic.
• A detailed discussion of the innovation, mentioned in the paper.
• A software demonstration if relevant.
This is followed by an interactive questioning session with the judges and the audience
General Rules
• All papers should be original
• Maximum number of participants per team is three
• Team work and individual work will not be distinguished
• No limits on the number of entries from a given team or a college
• All the members of the team must be enrolled for either an undergraduate or a
postgraduate program
• A person can be a part of two different teams
• Judges decision will be final
