The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) data provides a comprehensive basis for evaluating the performance of higher educational institutions across India through a set of well-defined parameters. The NIRF parametric scores are derived from key criteria such as Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception (PR). Each parameter is assigned a specific weightage, and institutions are assessed based on quantitative and qualitative data submitted annually. These scores collectively reflect the academic quality, research productivity, student success, inclusivity, and overall reputation of an institution, thereby enabling transparent and objective ranking at the national level.
