The robotics lab of EEE department, NIT, Trichy was established in 2014 with the help of the fund from DST and Institute. This lab has the facility of doing fundamental research on mobile robots such as wheeled mobile robots and flying robots. There is few number of EV3 – mobile robot assembly kits which in turn helps to assemble various kinds of robots to study its functionality. These kits can be programmed in different ways using windows and Linux operating systems. Co-ordination between robots is also one of recent activity of this laboratory.
Students from NIT and other institute are benefited by doing final year projects and summer internship at this laboratory.
