M.Sc. Mathematics. Until 1993, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications offered M. Sc. in Applied Mathematics which was restructured as M. Sc. (OR & CA); From 2019, the Department of Mathematics is offering M. Sc. in Mathematics from 2019-20 with a blend of pure and applied courses. The syllabus for the MSc course is here.
Admission. Students are admitted to M. Sc. (Mathematics), two-year programme through Joint Admission Test (JAM), a National Level Examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
