Three Day Origami Workshop - 29 October 2025
As part of AR111 Basic and Architectural Design I, the first year students participated in a three day Origami workshop conducted by guest faculty Arunabalan under the guidance of Prof Pudhuma Bharathi K and Dr K Premkumar. The workshop introduced students to a range of origami and kirigami techniques, helping them understand form generation, modular folding, structural behaviour, and surface manipulation. Through hands-on model making, students explored how paper folding principles can inform spatial thinking, geometry and architectural expression.
