BHARTI SCHOLARSHIP

Bharti Foundation was established in the year 2000, with the vision 'To help underprivileged children and young people of our country realise their potential.' Bharti Foundation's mission is to create and support programs that bring about sustainable changes through education, use of technology, and information & best practices sharing.

Bharti Foundation has set itself the goals of improving accessibility and quality of education at the school level for underprivileged children, and to provide education and training opportunities to youth.

Under its school-level programs, Bharti Foundation has been focusing on improving the learning levels of children. It has programs in the areas of computers in education, library and reading programs, mid-day meals, among other initiatives. For youth, in addition to supporting institutes of higher education, Bharti Foundation has set up a Bharti Scholarship Scheme and has also been encouraging entrepreneurship. It has instituted awards and fellowships to motivate young people in achieving their potential.

OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarships

OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarships (OPJEMS) has been instituted in memory of the Founding Father of OP Jindal Group, a great leader, visionary and statesman.

SC/ST scholarship

The Government of India has introduced a special scheme of scholarship to SC/ST students who have secured admission in the Institute during the Academic year 2007 – 2008 on the basis of their ranks obtained by them in AIEEE. Only top 10 rank holders under SC/ST category and whose family income (Parental income) is less than Rs.2 lakhs per annum alone are eligible as per the Govt. norms. The students who are eligible to avail themselves of the Anna Award / District Merit / State Merit Award for the year 2008-09 are directed to submit their completed application forms to the Scholarship Section / Main Office, on or before 31.8.2008.

Merit Cum Means Based Minority Scholarships


The students of Minority Communities who are eligible to avail themselves of the scholarships (Renewal / Fresh) for the year 2008-09 are directed to submit their completed application forms on or before 14.8.2008.
The prescribed application forms can be download from our Institute Website. The application forms duly filled in along with the requisite documents mentioned in the format, should reach the scholarship section in the Main Office well in advance for onward transmission to the concerned authorities.
Application forms received after 14.8.08 will not be considered.
