Horizon

Horizon is an annual National Level Student's Meet hosted by students of M.Sc., Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. The objective of the meet is to bring students from various colleges to one platform to showcase their scientific talents and to have fruitful discussions. The elaborate activities related to the preparation for Horizon gives the students an excellent opportunity to plan and demonstrate their time management skills, organizing abilities and team spirit. The programme includes special lectures by eminent scientists, oral presentation from students and quiz contests.

This year Horizon-2011 will be conducted on 22nd October 2011 by  chemistry department under the topic "Emerging Trends in Organic Synthesis"
