If it was the discovery of wheel that set the tone for man's development in science, it was the invention of the ENGINE that has made man what he is now, thanks to the MECHANICAL ENGINEERS of yore. Ever since the contributions of mechanical engineers, dubbed as the students of the evergreen branch of engineering, to mankind have been increasing manifold, scaling new heights and taking man to unfathomable levels of scientific and technological supremacy.

 
Come this February and the MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF NIT TRICHY, presents to you yet another vivacious edition of SYNERGY, where in as the word suggests, the brightest and most inspired mechanical engineers from all over the country shall come together one more time to achieve that extra energy.

 
This edition of synergy is packed with a myriad of events including mind boggling quizzes, captivating paper presentations, multifarious design contests and enlightening guest lectures. Let us all gear up for an extravagant journey into latest technological advancements in the field and two fun filled days of learning, working, sharing and competing.
