Original degree certificates of graduands who did not receive the degree during convocation 2013 are posted in batches since 12th August 2013. The tracking numbers of degrees posted, and the details of receipt/non-postage of degrees are displayed for information and necessary action. The graduates are hereby informed to kindly track the postage and collect the original degree safe.

The degrees will be despatched by Indian post immediately after convocation to the candidates who are registering to receive in-absentia.
• Information for Graduands who receive the Degrees in person
The Graduands will receive their degree certificates from the Director on the dais.
• Transport facility has been arranged on 3rd August 2013 for the Graduands to attend the convocation. The Institute bus will be available at Tiruchirappalli Junction for pick up at 4.30 A.M. for Mysore Express & Mangalore Express and at 5.30 AM for Rockfort Express.
• Last minute registration of in person candidates will strictly not be allowed.
• In-person candidates must be present for the convocation wearing their respective academic robes/gown.
• The Institute will arrange to supply the gown for the occasion at the Convocation Reception office*.
* The venue for registration of Graduands and Issue of gowns is as follows:

Registration time: On campus registration will commence from 7:00 am on 03-08-13 and close sharply at 9:30 am.
• A refundable deposit of Rs.300/- has to be paid to the supplier while collecting the gowns at the reception office. The deposit towards the gown will be refunded immediately on the return of the gown after the convocation.
• The Graduands are requested to wear formal attire befitting the occasion.
• Breakfast and Lunch will be provided in the “B” Mess of the Institute for the Graduands and their guests.
• Graduands kindly make note of these important instructions and follow them strictly within the convocation hall
• Graduands are required to occupy their allotted seats at the BARN Hall before 10.30 a.m. on 3.8.2013. Please come on time and the late comers will not be permitted by the security personnel for security reasons.
• Convocation starts and ends with procession of Senate and Board Members. All are requested to stand when the procession enters and leaves the BARN Hall
• It is mandatory that the decorum of the convocation proceedings should be maintained by every Graduand throughout the event.
• Keep cell phones switched off inside the BARN Hall.
• After receiving the degree, every Graduand should occupy their respective seat, stay inside and maintain silence until the procession leaves the convocation hall.

The Graduands who have Institute/Hostel/Library dues have to settle it at the respective office and submit the original receipt to the Dean Academic Office, to receive the degree. For any clarification kindly contact the respective office.
Mode of payment of dues:
Institute dues : DD drawn in favour of The Director, NIT Tiruchirappalli payable at Trichy
Hostel dues : DD drawn in favour of The Chief Warden, NIT Tiruchirappalli payable at Trichy. Cash will not be accepted under any circumstance.
