Leo

The Leo Club of Nit Trichy is one of the most famous and established clubs in the campus.Though it started off as a junior wing to the Lions Club of Srirangam, Leo is an autonomous club in our institute and all work is done by the students.

The club combines its primary objectives of performing social service tasks in and out of campus, with organizing various cultural, literary and sporting events, bringing out the hidden talents amongst the junta. From organizing medical camps to blood donation camps to building overhead pedestrian bridges( a project in the pipeline), the Leons try doing their bit for the society.

On a lighter note, events like Literati ( annual Lits event), Leophoria ( The interaction event for first years), Leolympics( annual inter-department sports event ), Nostalgia (Final Year Awards Night) and Friendship Day celebrations helps foster a sense of camaraderie amongst the budding engineers.
