Registrations are closed. Participants can register on the spot, on the day of the event at the EEE auditorium from 8.30am onwards. Registration fee will be Rs.150/- per participant.

EVENING SESSION
The evening session will be held in parallel slots in different halls as given below. The participants are requested to carefully choose the events to avoid overlap.

EVENTS AND RULES:
THE SPECTRUM (QUIZ):
It is an on-stage event with 6 or 7 rounds. Prelims will be conducted. The team with highest points at the end of all the rounds will be the winner.
• 2 participants per team
• One team per college
PAPER PRESENTATION
• One participant can participate from a college.
• He/ she can do a power point presentation on any one of the following topics for 8+2 minutes.
• Dark matter/Dark Energy
• The Physics of Music
• Recent trends in LEDs
CROSSING THE SEVEN SEAS (TREASURE HUNT):
Treasure Hunt is an off-stage event in which the participants will be asked to answer a question- the answer to which is a clue for the location of the next clue. With help from the volunteers, the team that solves the maximum number of clues within the given time is declared the winner.
• 2 participants per team
• 1 team per college
JUKE BOX
Juke Box is an off-stage event with 3 rounds- crossword puzzle, error spotting and demonstration- all related to Physics.
• 2 participants per team
• 1 team per college
KALEIDOSCOPE ( POT POURRI)
Pot Pourri is an on-stage event with 5 rounds. The team with the highest points at the end of all the rounds will be the winner.
• 2 participants per team
• 1 team per college.
The symposium is open for all physics students.
1. Maximum of NINE participants from each college.
2. Confirmation of participation must be done through email or mobile.
3. Registration fee of Rs.100/- per student will be collected on the day of the symposium.
(Participation certificate, symposium kit, lunch and refreshments will be provided).
4. A ROLLING TROPHY will be awarded to the college which scores the maximum number of points at the end of all the events.
