Colloborative Research Projects

  • Colloborative research project entitled Development of Bioactive and Antibacterial Nanocrystalline Hydroxyapatite Coatings on Ti and Ti-Alloy Implant Materials by PEO Technique is sanctioned by Networking Resource Centre for Materials (NRC-M), Dept. of Materials Engineering, IISc Bangalore. Prof. S. Subramanian (IISc), Dr. N. Ramesh Babu and Prof. V. Muthupandi (NIT-Trichy) are the principal investigators of the project. NRC-M offers full financial support to visit IISc up to 3 months in a year and consumables up to Rs.30, 000/- per year. (starting from August 2009, the duration of project is for three years)
