Q. Which entrance exam score does DoMS NITT accepts for admission to its MBA programme?
DoMS NITT accepts CAT scores i.e. Common Admission Test scores. These scores are used only for short-listing the applicants for the further admission process of DoMS NITT.
Q. Does DoMS NITT accept any other entrance exam score like ATMA, MAT, JMET, etc.?
No. DoMS NITT accepts CAT scores only.
Q. What is the minimum eligibility for the MBA programme at DoMS NITT?
A university degree in any discipline, recognized by AIU. Candidates should have appeared the CAT exam during the year of admission. Candidates appearing for their final year degree examination are also eligible.
Q. How to apply for the MBA programme?
Application forms can be downloaded from the institute’s website or can be obtained by sending a written request along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (SC/ST candidate – Rs.350/) drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15 payable at SBI (code no- 1617), National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
Q. Is there any age limit to pursue DoMS NITT Programme?
No. We do not stipulate any minimum or maximum age limits.
Q. Are there any reserved quotas for special category of applicants?
Yes. There are quotas for SC and ST candidates as per the Government Norms.
Q. Is there any quota for other state candidates applying for MBA programme at DoMS NITT?
Yes. There is a 50% quota for other state candidates applying for MBA programme at DoMS NITT.
Q. What is the admission procedure in DoMS NITT for the MBA programme?
The applicants will be short-listed based on the scores of CAT. The short-listed candidates will be invited to attend the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. IIM’s have no role in the selection process or conduct of the MBA programme.
Q. What is the approximate fee for the MBA programme at DoMS NITT?
The approximate fees is Institute fee Rs.19, 350/- and Hostel Fee Rs. 12,310/- Total Fee Rs. 31,660/- per year. For SC and ST candidates Tuition fee is exempted. See Fee Details in website for updated information.

Q. What are the specializations that DoMS NITT offers in the MBA Programme?
DoMS offers dual specialization in Marketing, Finance, Systems, Human Resources and Operations. The two year residential programme includes basic core courses, electives and summer internship.
Q. What type of semester pattern is followed in DoMS NITT?
DoMS follow Trimester Pattern.
Q. Is there any Alumni network associated with DoMS?
Yes. DoMS being a 29 years old institute has a big alumni network having alumni’s serving in huge MNC’s in India and abroad, retail chains, IT giants, manufacturing and engineering companies as well as public sectors. Q. Is this MBA programme a compulsory residential course?
No. It is not mandatory for the students to take up the hostel accomodation, though staying in hostels is recommended.
