• Conducted a 5-day Management Development Programme on Knowledge Management for the Deans and senior faculty members of NITs and leading Engineering colleges in India in February 2007.
• Conducted a seminar on Research directions in Information Technology and Applications on December 22, 2006 for the benefit of faculty members and research scholars. Leading faculty from the US and UK Universities delivered presentations on topics including e-governance, Information security, software development and information management.
• Serving in the editorial review board of Interdisciplinary Journal of Information, Knowledge, and Management since 2007.
• Serving as a reviewer of the Cyberscape Journal, Multimedia University, Malaysia since 2003.
• Served as an International reviewer of the International conference on Internet Economy and Business (September, 2002), Multimedia University, Malaysia.
• Coordinated a workshop on Information Technology and Managerial Challenges in the 21st Century for faculty and students at Bangalore during 21-23 February 1998.
• Coordinated a workshop on e-Business: Managerial opportunities and challenges for the benefit of faculty and students of Management schools during February 2001.
• Coordinated a workshop on Opportunities and challenges for HR in the SW industry in November 2001 (Co-coordinator).
• Coordinated and conducted workshops on Entrepreneurship: Awareness and skill development- a series of five one-week workshops conducted for the final year undergraduate students of NIT, Trichy during 2003-04.

• Coordinated a 2-month “Finishing school for engineering graduates” for a batch of 60 participants to impart training in areas such as IT, Business and communication, during May-June, 2007.
• Organized a 5-day “Train the Trainers- Finishing school for engineering graduates” programme for the select faculty members of 7 NITs and IIT-Roorkee during March 12-16, 2007.
• Conducted an Executive Development Programme on “Competitiveness of SMEs through Enterprise systems and e- business” for the benefit of promoters and managers of SMEs during September 9-12, 2006.
• Offered consultancy to the Spares business of BHEL, Tiruchirappalli in the area of business process reengineering. This project involved studying the entire business in terms of its key processes and to suggest improvements through BPR approaches during 2004.
• Coordinated and conducted a series of eight programmes on Information Systems Control and Audit for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at various locations during 2001-2004.
• Coordinated and conducted five training programmes on General Management & IT for Junior Executives/ Engineer Trainees of BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited), Tiruchirappalli during 1995-2003.
• Conducted a two-day training programme on Business Process Reengineering (BPR) for middle-level executives of BHEL, Tiruchirappalli during July 2003.
• Conducted training programmes on Cyber Law and Intellectual Propriety Rights for Police personnel in five locations during 2003 sponsored through Technology gateway, Anna University. Chennai, India
• Coordinated and conducted a six month training programme on Small Industries Management Assistants’ Programme (SIMAP) for Managers of Small Scale Industrial units at Tiruchirappalli, funded by SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India), July 1996- January 1997.
• Served as a member of the Experts Group formed by State government to design curriculum contents in Management area for recruiting officers for civil services
• Conducted a one-week training programme for scientists of DRDO (Defense Research Development Organization) on Managing Information Technology at Institute of Technology Management in September 1998.
