• DST Young Scientist Award (2007-2010) by Govt. of India, Ministry of Science and Technology. This award carries a grant to carry out a research project entitled "Control of Multivariable Process using Soft Computing".
• CSIR, New Delhi has sponsored me to present two of my papers in the International Conference on Modeling and Simulation (MS2006), KualaLumpur, Malaysia.
