The Control Systems Research Laboratory was established in 2009. The objective is to enhance the indigenous R&D expertise and infrastructure in the country with active participation from Academic Institutions and Industries.

Areas of current research work: Sliding Mode Controller, Static Electric Vehicle, Grid Connected PV, Regenerative Braking System in Electric Vehicle, Modelling of Li-ion battery and Design of Battery Charger.

Equipment: PMDC coupled with a dc Motor, BLDC hub motor MOSFET and IGBT driver

Delta Elektronika power supply, MyRIO kit Voltage and Current digital panel meter

Regulated DC Power Supplies, Hall effect sensors-(voltage/current) LEM make, LCR meter- Scientific make, DSO- Agilent technologies.
